Maybe it was the tranquility and the fairness of the seaside landscape that, in addition to the beauty of Calypso, made Odysseus not to want to leave from Leipsoi, where he wandered to in his eventful return to Ithaca.

During the Wine Feast, which is held each summer, you will have the opportunity to taste all the renowned varieties of the sweet wine of Leipsoi, the unique local cheese named ?mytzithra? made by pure local milk and sea water, and the luscious traditional sweets. These are all treated by the island!

In the summer months the island is connected daily with regular shipping routes from and to Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros, Patmos, and Samos. Access to any destination on the island is easy.
