LACOMAR - PISANI (HELLAS) S.A. is a company in the marble business, which was fabricated in 2002 and has demonstrated a very important action, as it combines the power of two very well known companies with a very long and successful career in the international marble market. LACOMAR S.A (with its central offices in Athens) and PISANI LTD (with its central offices in UK)

 

 

LACOMAR S.A. is specializing in the quarrying and processing of marble since 1962.

Today the company has increased the monthly level of processing to 50.000 Μ² of slabs, tiles and several cut to size dimensions, not only in Greek materials but also in foreign (marble & granites).

PISANI from the other side has its origins in the Italian company of the same name founded around 1900. The British company has expanded considerably until now has three depots all with large, well - appointed showrooms where the specifier can select an extensive range of marble and stone imported from more than 40 countries. Pisani´s accumulated experience of the use of stone in the construction industry is at the disposal of the specifier.

 

 

The facility offered to the specified by PISANI makes it considerably easier and very much cheaper to select stone at one of their showrooms than to visit Italy or any of the other countries of origin. Pisani´s own inspector visits quarries abroad to check quality of stone and continuity of supply. The company works closely with its associate Italian company PISANI BROTHERS SPA.

 

 

Pisani are official suppliers to such prestigious establishments such as:

The company´s advice and its products comply with BS 8298. Code of practice for design and installation of natural stone cladding and lining.

 

The group of PISANI owns except of the three units in the United Kingdom, one factory in Italy, which locates in the "marble zone" of Carrara, a factory in South India with 120 employees, granite´s quarries (MANDURA GOLD and ARKAY BLACK) and also quarries in Bulgaria (VRATSA LIMESTONE). 

 

 

The company disposes a highly experienced staff for the selection and the control of the quality of the definitive products in the units of production.

 

 

Due to the need of having a share in the Greek market, because of the imminent Olympic Games in Athens on 2004,  LACOMAR S.A. has chosen to cooperate with PISANI LTD in order to create a new status, more efficient and competitive and by  this way to respond better to the limited deadlines of the domestic market.

 

The company LACOMAR - PISANI (HELLAS) S.A. has insured a special wealthy depot of first class materials from all over the world by which we supply our stock yards continuously in the United Kingdom and in Italy.

 

 

In Greece the company LACOMAR-PISANI (HELLAS) S.A. has decided within 2003 to construct one of the most synchronous exhibitions/stock yards of Europe in the area of Ag. Asomatoi in Koropi. In these modern facilities that extend in an area of 12.000 M² there are two cranes and a constant stock of more than 25.000 M² slabs and tiles of marbles, granites, sandstone and schist in a very big range of colors.

The Company pays special attention in the colored materials that are being exposed in a roofed building of 700 M² and also one outhouse exhibition.

 

 

As far as the productive capability of the new company concerns, it disposes already in Greece two permanent bases together with the factories in the United Kingdom, in Italy and in Greece.

 

 

The choice of this union was very successful, since the new company has undertaken the materials supply and installation to almost all the projects that concern the renovation of the biggest hotels in Athens, such as:
