    The hotel is about 100 meters away from the main road and gives the essential quietness for any visitor. Fully surrounded by the famus green of Corfu offering a special environment for relaxation.

About Aghios Georgios

Aghios Georgios beach belongs to the municipality of Aghios Georgios and its name is related to the small church which is located in the center of the long sandy beach.

The 3 km long beach is situated in the northwest side of the island of Corfu between the famous bay of Paleokastritsa and Arilas bay . It is a sandy beach surrounded by two green hills with a small creek in the middle.

The clear water is ideal for swimming and the beach is generally recognised as the clearest and most quite beach in the island awarded with the Blue Flag of the E.U .

In the beach someone can also enjoy a great variety of water sports while at the evening can enjoy the beautiful and last sunset on the island. Visitors can also enjoy delightful walks across the creek or they can do joking around the hills.

Aghios Georgios beach is the place where Odysseus arrived drifted from the sea to Feakes Island and in the small creek he met princess Nafsika.

Along the way from the hotel to the beach you can find a lot of shops with souvenirs, super market and restaurants.

Food
There are many traditional dishes included in the Corfu's cuisine: "Sofrito" small slices from roast veal, with spicy sauce of garlic. "Pastitsada" pasta with veal cooked in red spicy sauce. "Bourdeto" fish - usually scorpion - cooked with red sauce and red pepper. You can also taste "Mandolato" white pastry of Corfu. "Koumkouat " is a liqueur, from strawberries and a small Japanese orange.
